It has been 1.5 months since we made the switch to Nature’s Logic and we are so happy with this new dog holistic dog food. We have seen some great changes in health, energy and look since changing the food and have completed the slow progression to the food without any problems.
The positive changes we have seen in the Lab Brats include:
- More energy
- Less chewing on paws
- Decrease in flaky skin
- Decrease in flatulence (passing gas)
- Firmer, white, disintegrating stools
- Decrease in ear infections and how often ears need to be cleaned
Things that have not changed:
- Grass urine burns (inconclusive due to the lack of rain and hot climate recently)
- Eye discharge (still have some allergy eye discharge so it is due to environmental allergies and not food)
- Amount of shedding has remained the same (may be due to climate changes)
Please note that it has only been 1.5 months since we started the progression to the new food. Major changes (one way or the other) won’t been truly seen until a few months after changing dog foods so we will have to keep an eye on their health as the months go on. However, we are very pleased with the new dog food and will continue to keep it as their main diet. Keeping our fingers crossed that there are more good things to come form making the switch!
